Thank you for your interest in our Internal Medicine Residency Program. We will begin accepting applications for the 2019-2020 academic year in September 2018. We only accept applications through ERAS. (No paper or emailed applications are accepted or reviewed).

We will begin interviewing November 5, 2018 and complete the interview process by February 1, 2019.

The deadline for receiving applications will be November 1, 2018.

Due to the large number of applications, we review only those with USMLE Parts I and II scores of 240 or above, first attempt and passing Clinic Skills, first attempt. This year, we will continue to sponsor H-1B visas for highly qualified International Medical Graduate applicants, and we will also accept J-1 visas. Our Program is exempt from the H-1B visa cap. If you require an H-1B visa, USMLE Part III results must be available by February 1, 2019 in order to be ranked for the Match.

Applicants must have graduated within the last seven to ten years and US clinical experience is beneficial but not required. ECFMG certification must be received at time of application for temporary medical license (which means you must be ECFMG-certified by Match time) allowing you to receive your medical license which is a requirement for beginning a residency training program.

We request 3 letters of recommendation plus the Dean's letter.

We offer 13 positions - 9 categorical and 4 preliminary. St. Mary's does not offer observership/externship positions
